Finally started again

Hello everyone
Nice to be home again. Great when I am busy being creative, so busy that I forget everything.
We have said goodbye to the last holiday guests, so with this, a  last holiday greeting with some picnic baskets.
We have had fantastic nice weather here in august. Who does not want a walk on the beach, watch the sunset and enjoy a good glass of wine.

Dejligt at være hjemme igen.  Skønt, når jeg bliver optaget af at være kreativ, så optaget at jeg glemmer alt. 

Vi har sagt farvel til de sidste ferie gæster, så hermed en sidste ferie hilsen med nogle picnic kurve. Vi har haft fantastisk dejligt vejr her i august. Hvem har ikke lyst til en tur på stranden, se solnedgangen og nyde en god glas vin.

Jeg har prøvet at lave nogle kager i fimo-ler.

I have also tried to make some bread, I will definitely try something more when the time is there.

Jeg har også forsøgt at lave nogle flutes, jeg skal helt klart prøve noget mere når tiden er der. 

I have had problems with being focused on the interior of my dollhouse. I could not choose which style. I  like the most. One day I thought, who should really stay in my house? Slow took a story place in my head.

I have come to the conclusion that it will be some, city people. Their children have left home. They have worked hard and in the financial world. Now they want out of the country and be in contact with nature. Do whatever they want and not all the world expects of them. They will feed themselves with a boutique that will sell new and used furniture.

They bought an older house, it needs so much to be been restored, they are both good practitioners, and looking forward to the work. They have all winter, the house and the shop must be ready for Easter, the 2013th

The house is located in a small provincial town with many summer houses in the area. These are the customers they want to sell to. By the way, the female is called Louise, I do not know what the man is called and I do not know if we ever see them. But we will follow, developments in their house.

Jeg har haft problemer med at være fokuseret på indretning af mit dukkehus. Jeg kunne ikke vælge hvilken stil. Jeg kan jo lide det meste. En dag tænkte jeg, hvem skal egentlig bo i mit hus? Langsom tog en fortælling plads i mit hoved.

Jeg er kommet frem til, at det bliver nogle bymennesker. Deres børn er flyttet hjemmefra. De har arbejdet hårdt og meget inden for den finansielle verden. Nu vil de gerne ud på landet og være i kontakt med naturen. Gøre alt det,  de vil og ikke alt det verden forventer af dem. De vil ernære sig med en butik som vil sælge nye og brugte møbler. 

De har købt et ældre hus, det trænger i den grad til at blive sat i stand, de er begge to gode praktikere, og glæder sig til arbejdet. De har hele vinteren, huset og butikken må stå klar til påsken 2013. 

Huset ligger i en lille provinsby, med mange sommer  huse i området. Det er disse gæster de vil sælge til. Forresten, kvinden hedder Louise, jeg ved ikke hvad manden hedder og jeg ved ikke om vi nogen sinde får dem at se. Men vi vil følge udviklingen på deres hus.

Already by moving into the bedroom, maybe the floor is painted white first?

Allerede ved at flytte ind i soveværelset, måske skal gulvet males hvidt først?

Louise must of course have some nice underwear with out in the country? Very fun to make, will try me with something more, once.

Louise må naturligvis have noget lækkert undertøj med ud på landet? Meget sjvot at lave, jeg vil lave mere når tiden byder sig.

I love books and gifts.

So the holiday is over. I am looking forward to get started with my quiet everyday life. To start being creative again. I have missed the calm it offers.

I bought a few exciting things in Berlin.



Så er ferien overstået. Jeg glæder mig til at komme igang med min stille og rolige dagligdag liv. At komme i gang med at være kreativ igen. jeg har savnet den ro det giver. 

Jeg har købt nogle få spændende ting i Berlin. 

Basketball and shoes, I could not resist. Both of my now grown-up girls have played basketball. One was  on high school in Seattle where she played for a year.

Basket bolden og skoene kunne jeg ikke stå  for. Begge mine nu voksne piger har spillet basketball. Den ene var på high skole i Seattle hvor hun spillede i et år. 

The pipe, ashtray and the little vintage pocket watch, was irresistible.

Piben, askebæger, samt det lille vintage lomme ur, var uimodståelig.



I love books, there's nothing like sitting with a book in my hand. To open page after page. Look at beautiful pictures. Even the smell of a new book.
I bought Caroline `s book" A Shabby Chic Dollhouse "and it is highly recommended. I've got good ideas regarding the use of tools. I've got plenty of inspiration for decorating outdoors as indoors on my dollhouses. Now I just try to stay focused on all my projects.

Jeg er vild med bøger, der er ikke noget som at sidde med en bog i min hånd.  At åbne side efter side. Se på smukke billeder. Selv duften af en ny bog.
Jeg har købt Caroline`s bog "A Shabby Chic Dollhouse" og den er anbefalesværdigt. Jeg har fået gode ideer med hensyn til brug af værktøj.  Jeg har fået masser af inspiration til dekorering, såvel udendørs som indendørs i mine dukkehuse. Nu skal jeg bare forsøge at holde fokus med hensyn til alle mine projekter.

I received a gift of Caroline along with the book. I was so overwhelmed when I found this hand-painted rosen painting. I've looked and looked at Caroline's blog and sat and watch her instructions, on how to make her beautiful rosen painting. I've tried but it was not a success.
For me, these paintings of Caroline, as pronounced her trademark. You are a very generous lady. Once again, thank.


Jeg fik en gave af Caroline sammen med bogen. Jeg blev så overvældet da  jeg fandt dette håndmalede, rosen, maleri. Jeg har kikket og kikket på Carolines blog og siddet og se hendes anvisning om hvordan man laver hendes flotte roser malerier. Jeg har prøvet, men det var ikke nogen succes. 
For mig, er disse  malerier af Caroline, så udpræget hendes varemærke.  Du er en meget gavmild dame. Endnu engang, tak.

Shabby Look

I thank all of you, who visit my blog. Thanks for all the comments, thanks for your help when I've asked for it.

I got of course plenty of inspiration as I traveled around in my vacation.

I bought many life style magazines, which inspired me to make an "open decorative cabinet" in the shabby look.

 A greenhouse I bought many years ago at Farum Festival. 

I crocheted the pink pot holders of the thinnest yarn, it is as thin as thread. I could only do it in daylight and sitting way up in the window.

"The cabinet" is made of thick cardboard and ice cream sticks.

Several things are "borrowed" from my kids, the picture in the black frame and the two blue and white cans is something they've played with. They had a playmobil dollhouse (it is saved for the grandchildren). On the shelves to the left there are some blue and silver plates, these ones I have made in self-drying clay.

The cupboard is pink, blue and with a little gold. I change the rear cover on the middle shelves for something else. When I see the picture, I can see it must be changed.

                             Another a shabby look inspired "open cabinet" of cardboard and painted in silver.

Still on vacation, but now with access to the internet .. jubii

I had a little nerves about having to leave my blog "sail its own sea" in a few weeks.
Therefore, thanks to you all, thank you for visiting my blog while I enjoyed life in Prague. Thanks for coming on the return visit. Thanks for all the wonderful and nice comments. 

And yes Norma i enjoyed being whit my family and I have been wildly inspired, Vicky, now stand new ideas in a queue inside my head. Caroline, I did it. Before the trip I felt dependent on the network. terrible as a teenager by his mobile. 

Now I am back in Denmark and is in our lovely cottage in Rørvig. I've had some fantastic days at Prague. charming town, sweet people, nice food.
We drove through Dresden, where we also had a few nice days. I have never previously visited Dresden, so I was surprised by the imprint of the old princely interfering. Width boulevards, huge castles monumental buildings. I must go back a second time. We also took a couple of nights in Potsdam near Berlin. Charming town. I am fascinated by the way the old East Germany has been renovated on after the fall of communism. It seems to me that they have rekonstruktreret the old buildings beautifully.

In Prague, they had a lot of beautiful dolls in national costumes. It was hard to choose, but the beautiful purple skirt, I could not resist.

 Is she not -  just beautiful?

In Dresden they do much in small miniature boxes, size (5.5 x 3.5) I found this set of beer mugs and beer barrel. Maybe a bar or banquet hall.

The angels were on all in Dresden. They got me to thinking about all of you miniature blogger. They are also with us. I did think, they not really belonged in Dresden. It is one of "our" many brands.

Help - vacation without internet

I go on vacation, which always is nice.
But - yes, because there is a but. I will miss my miniature projects and my blog / you. The first 2 weeks I am without internet.


Oh how shall I manage it??

I take also on holiday with joy and expectation.

With joy that my blog is well underway, and it's only because you have been so good to me and given so much positive feedback. Thanks for that.

With the expectation of all that may come with new projects and new people I "meet". The world has suddenly become both small and large at the same time.

I have created an outdoor wooden bathtub, but I simply could not be able to taken a decent picture, so I had to put it into the doll house.

Some small things I made sometime in the spring. Was inspired by spring, so the green is in everything.

After the holidays, I will make a little baby "look box" (I do not know if it's the right word in English) for childbirth gift. Here's some, which must be in.

Ice cream sticks again and again

Hello everyone
I still have some challenges in all this blog something, but I will get it learned, just have some patience with me.
My miniature challenges;  I often have so many ideas of something I want to do that I do not get taken a direction. but I am in too many ways at once. Sometimes I become passive because I can not choose direction.
I wish that my miniature expression, the term could reflect a certain style, there will be a recurring theme in my work. Unfortunately, I am too flaky and style uncertain for it to happen. Otherwise, it is because I actually like the style of many species and might just have to accept this.

I have been active this weekend we have had reasonable summer weather in Denmark, nice, so I could sit out and work.

I bought a used dollhouse online, there followed a lot of furniture. Among others, this thread sofa. It was originally white but now I've given it a little patina and sewn cushions and pillows

I have made some round flower boxes in ice sticks. Can probably also made ​​oval and square. (got the idea while I was writing, so now it must be tested). There may probably also be made large barrels? There are 3 sizes, the large is about a Pepsi cap.

I've also tried making "tin cans" it's about being very præsis, difficulty with lids. I found the instructions and pattern of lemondecratidecatherine

This cabinet must at some point be in a room with the couch - but I can not really find the right color for the closet. Originally it was in dark wood with glass.
I think there is too much "red" color on it. Does anyone have a suggestion?

            I've made a photo collage of the "French couch". I love these kids pictures.
